Accommodating 100+ people

The Lachine Canal nautical centre is the perfect location if you are looking to organize a special event or simply bring a school group, large group of friends or group of coworkers.

With over 30 kayaks, 20 SUPs, 10 pedal boats, 4 canoes and 4 voyageur canoes (seating up to 13 people each), we can accommodate groups of over 100 people.

Due to coordination and high demand, group rates can only be offered on weekdays before 4 PM. A minimum of six boats (not people) is required to qualify for group rates.

GPS Challenge

2 hours | Accommodating 100+ people

Battle your competition and learn a little about the rich history of the Lachine Canal in our interactive challenge that requires teamwork, brain power and a keen sense of observation.

Equipped with a voyageur canoe, GPS device, binoculars, and an old map, teams must navigate the canal to pertinent points of interest. The team with the most correct answers wins! *(Land-only version also available)

$50.00/per person

Minimum 4 per rabaska. Includes taxes and all equipment.

Day Camps

The Lachine Canal Nautical Center is the ideal place for youth camps! Choose from our four rabaska canoes, which can accommodate groups of up to 46 young people at a time, along with four guides, and our other boats in our fleet. Provide your own guide or hire one of ours and allow them to share the fascinating story of the place the Canal played in establishing Montreal as one of the greatest cities in North America.

Our 3 km basin is the perfect length for a 1-2 hour expedition. Located just opposite the Atwater market, the Center is easily accessible from the Charlevoix (400m) or Lionel Groulx (900m) metro stations.

Custom Hours & Special Rates: We understand that production schedules are demanding. We offer flexible, special hours outside of regular operating times and tailored pricing packages to fit your production budget.

Permit Requirement: Please note that because we operate on a historic site, all film crews must obtain a filming permit directly from Parks Canada prior to shooting.
