The Lachine Canal Nautical Centre is the perfect place for kids camps!  

With four 13-passenger voyageur canoes, we can accommodate groups of up to 48, plus four guides. Bring your own guide, or hire one of ours and allow your group to share the fascinating history of how the Canal was vital to the establishment of Montreal as a major city in North America.

Our basin of 3 km is the perfect length for a 1-2 hour adventure. Located directly in front of the Atwater Market, the Centre is easily accessible from either the Charlevoix (400m) or the Lionel Groulx (900m) metro stations.

Voyageur canoe:
$50 1st hour, $35 each add. hour
Guide

$40 for one hour - $30/hour for more than 1hr.

Voyageur GPS Challenge

Battle your competition and learn a little about the rich history of the Lachine Canal in our interactive challenge that requires teamwork, brain power and a keen sense of observation.

Equipped with a voyageur canoe, GPS device, binoculars, and an old map, teams must navigate the canal to pertinent points of interest. In a race against the clock and the competition, the team with the most correct answers wins! 

(Also available as a land-based only foot-rally.)

Group size: 4-52 (for voyageur version, more for foot-rally)

Time: 1-2 hours

Cost: $40 per person, minimum 4 per canoe.
