When we started H2O Adventures in 1996, our goal was to share our passion for paddle sports. In 2001, we opened our shop on the Lachine Canal.

Today, our fleet includes 20 Pulse paddleboards and over 30 kayaks of all shapes and sizes from noted brands such as Necky, Old Town Canoe, Perception, Dagger, Delta Kayaks and Boreal Designs. No flimsy sit-on-tops or cheap discount store kayaks here.

Members may select from more recreational beginner models, mid-range sea kayaks or high-end fibreglass/composite sea kayaks. Both solo kayaks and tandem kayaks are available to members pending membership level.**  

Members may select from recreational SUP and canoe models that are designed for both beginner and expert paddlers alike.

 

Please note that all safety equipment is provided by H2O Adventures.

 

A course is not obligatory but highly recommended for those with no experience. Good technique will make you more efficient and comfortable in your kayak.

Rules

Boats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you reserve your boats. Reservations can be made online up to two weeks in advance.

Unless otherwise indicated or agreed in advance, rentals last a maximum of 2 hours per day**. Boats must remain on the canal and cannot be moved to other sites. Membership plans are not transferable.
 
Couple and family memberships are the only ones that can be shared.

Members must present a government issued I.D. upon their first visit of the season and may be asked at anytime to show their I.D. again. 

​

* An additional $10 per hour will be charged if one person in the tandem is not a member.
